From the Principal’s Desk – 23 February 2024

Dear Parents,

Another week has flown by here at TBA, with only 4 weeks left of this term. We continue to witness the diligent efforts of our students as they engage in their learning experiences. 

A big thank you to everyone who supported IG2 Flip Flop Day today! It was wonderful to see our school community come together for such a fun event.  Please see fun video created by IG2’s  here.

We also have an ongoing annual initiative to recycle bottle caps and small hard plastics, which will be used to fund wheelchairs for those in need. For more information on please follow link https://breadtagsforwheelchairs.co.za/ . 

We are committed to continuing our outreach initiatives and making a positive impact in our community and your support is greatly appreciated!

Additionally, we would like to bring to your attention the first Open Day of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (NAS) at UP. This event is tailored for Grade 11 and 12 learners who have English, Mathematics, and Sciences as subjects. During this event, students will have the opportunity to explore the exciting opportunities within the Faculty’s Biological, Agricultural, and Food Sciences, as well as Mathematical and Physical Sciences clusters. Information sessions will be held, providing valuable insights, and with the chance to meet scientists and industry experts. Guided tours of the campus facilities will also be available. Please note that space is limited for this event, which will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024.
