Dear Parents and Guardians,

It’s an electrifying time here at TBA as we dive into another week filled with opportunities and excitement!

With tests kicking off this week and only five weeks left in the term, our students are gearing up for success. Let’s rally behind them and ensure they’re ready and on time for their assessments next week. Their dedication and hard work are the keys to unlocking their potential! 

Entrepreneurs Day – March 15th: Entrepreneurs Day is set to be an exhilarating celebration, brimming with innovation, creativity, and boundless enthusiasm. Our students are eagerly preparing to unveil their entrepreneurial prowess, and as the event draws near, we’ll be sure to share more details. Your support is invaluable to them, so please show your encouragement—it truly means the world to our budding entrepreneurs.

Checkpoint 2 Trip – March 8th: We are getting ready for a cheesy adventure because on March 8th as our Checkpoint 2 students embark on a journey to the cheese farm! It’s going to be an udderly delightful experience filled with learning, laughter, and maybe a few cheesy jokes along the way. We’ll be sure to make a few memories that will last a lifetime!

South African Mathematics Olympiad (SAMO): Is your child ready to unleash their inner mathlete? Registration for the South African Mathematics Olympiad (SAMO) is now open, and we’re cheering on all our students to participate! SAMO isn’t just about solving equations—it’s a thrilling journey that celebrates curiosity, perseverance, and the joy of discovery. Let’s dive in, explore the limitless possibilities, and see where our mathematical adventures take us!

The registration deadline for the first round is 21 February 2024, and the competition dates are provided in the image attached.

Lastly, we’ve sent home the 2024 Code of Conduct forms to be signed, and we’re counting on your support to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment for all. Please take a moment to sign this document with your child, and let’s continue to foster a community where everyone can thrive.
