December 2017 Newsletter
Dear Parents, learners, staff and friends of The British Academy
I do hope that all the exams have gone well and that you are now looking forward to a well-earned holiday break.
As I reflect on the year, it has been such a successful one in so many respects. This newsletter reflects on some of those highlights. Thank you to the learners and to the parents for your ongoing support of the school. You all play a part in the success of the school. I also thank all the staff – academic,
administrative and service – for their contributions to the school. Each staff member goes well beyond what is expected to ensure that The British Academy continues to flourish. It is dedicated parents and committed teachers who have enabled each child to celebrate their personal achievements across the pillars of learning at our school. We are at the end of what has been a very good year at The British Academy. It is now the season to rest, to enjoy time with family and friends, and to find hope and peace. The children have opened their minds and hearts to embracing many opportunities on offer. As I reflect back on this past year, I am reminded about the countless celebrations, new initiatives, victories, losses, joyful times, as well as sad ones. I do look back with a great deal of pride and we all – learners, parents and teachers – are so privileged to be part of this wonderful institution, The British Academy.
We are a small school and we want our students to strive for the highest achievement of which they are capable. We are tiny, but mighty.
