British Academy Student Publishes Self-help Book

Gemma Grootepass, an A Level student of The British Academy, has just published her first book called “Gemma’s Gems, Wisdom to negotiate a topsy-turvy world”.

In her own words:

I wrote my book when I could no longer attend school due to having contracted the Epstein-Barr Virus. I was one of the unfortunate people whom the virus hit so hard that I was bed-ridden for close on eight months. I was completely isolated and could also see no-one as I was still infectious.
